Emergency Maintenance #221 (completed)

Khanatics,   First of all we'd like to apologize for the long and sudden maintenance.    WHAT HAPPENED? Last week, just like blaze, we started a long maintenance for the Steam Server to set it up for the upcoming update alongside blaze.   One of the things we did was review player data. This is where we noticed some weird behavior from some characters. Upon further investigation, a process which took a long time, we concluded that those players were exploiting a bug. This is clearly in violation of our terms so all those involved were permanently banned.   I won't go into detail about the bug but it is the kind of bug that is Gameplay Breaking so fixing it was our number one priority. After fixing it for Steam we also included the fix for blaze. But fixing it isn't enough, we also needed to find out if anyone on Blaze used it and ban them.   While running some scripts that help with the detection of the bug I noticed someone was abusing it at that moment. I panicked and closed the server to stop further damage.   Long story short, it took a long time to find all the abusers and once found we just deleted their accounts along with their characters.   SIDE EFFECTS Due to the sudden closing of the server some players that were online at that time might experience a small rollback. If you're one of those players, please open a report now.   COMPENSATION  We will be manually giving out compensation for those who had a running bonus (days duration amulet) at the time the server was down.    Again we are very sorry about that incident and we have put in place better detection to avoid similar incidents in the future.   Blaze GM Team

Fixed: Character Create Bug

Khanatics,   With the recent updates, as usual, some things get broken. Although we do our best to fix everything, it took us awhile to realize that the character creation for newly created accounts had a problem.   Because the support center wasn't available yet, reports we're being posted to different GMs, groups, and pages some we don't always monitor. It took us almost 2 weeks to notice but today the bug is finally fixed. Newly registered accounts can now create new characters.   Hopefully other bugs will be noticed sooner with the help of the newly opened support center. If you find any bugs or problems with the game, please report it immediately.   We apologize to those who were affected by this bug. With the new website and the new and upcoming updates of Khan we will be more active in fixing bugs in the game.   Blaze GM Team

New Feature: Support Center

Khanatics,   The support center is now open for anyone with concerns or problems in the game. Some issues can't be handled at the moment as most of the tools used for tracing and monitoring aren't complete yet. Rest assured that we will do our best to help you.   To keep the support center clean and managable, we ask everyone not to flood reports. One report for one issue is enough. If we find anyone purposely flooding the reports we will have to ban your account for a week because you're disrupting service.   A few things have changed from the last website...   Guest Reporting Guest reporting is now available for anyone who has a concern but doesn't have an account or can't access their account. You can leave a message with your email address and we will email you directly with regards to your concern. Chat-like UI The user interface is now reminiscent of a chat interface to make it more user friendly and familiar.  Live Replies Although this hasn't been completely implemented yet, this will soon be available in the reporting system. Aall replies are updated live no need to refresh the report thread just like your facebook chat.   With this new website and the new and upcoming updates to Khan, we are going to be more active in the community and make sure that all problems get solved.
